- Fitting
The appliance is fitted and we explain how to look after it.
- Adjustments
Regular appointments to adjust the appliance and check progress.
- Retention
Once the teeth are in place, retainers hold them there.
How many visits? Treatment usually runs for months to a couple of years, with regular adjustment visits.
Afterwards
- Teeth often feel sore for a few days after fitting or an adjustment.
- Cleaning takes extra care. We will show you how to brush and clean around the appliance.
- Avoid very hard or sticky food that can break braces.
- Wear your retainer exactly as advised. Without it, teeth tend to drift back.

How long does treatment take?
